troop 70 adventures:

troop 70 Scouts have had many extra opportunities to enjoy the spirit of Scouting all across the United States and the world. The troop began its jamboree attendance with the 1950 National Jamboree and has attended each of the jamborees since. As of 2010 there have been 16 with Troop 70 Scouts in attendance.

The troop has had members attended many of the world jamborees. Those countries include, Greece -1963, Japan - 1971, Norway - 1975, Canada - 1983, Australia - 1988, Holland - 1995, Chile - 1999, Thailand - 2002, England - 2007, and Sweden - 2011.

Summer of 2012 a crew of Troop 70 Scouts will adventure on a Philmont trek. Please David Eisenlohr for more details.

2013
Troop 70 will be attending the 2013 National Jamboree at The Summitt Bechtel Reserve. It is the first jamboree in West Virginia and is the new home of BSA jamborees. Sign up at https://summit.scouting.org/en/Pages/default.aspx for two weeks of adventure and fune. Here are some important weblinks:
