The troop will be attending the 2013 National Jamboree as part of the Cirlce Ten Council contingent. The triip (as currently planned) includes travel to New York City, Washingoton DC, and the jamboree.
The jamboree will be at the new jamboree site in West Virginia. The program has shifted from the old style at Fort AP Hill in Virginia to a more high adventure program like the other high adventure bases. The program will include, mountain biking, mountain boarding, day treks, a day of service, white water canoeing, treetop canapoy events, etc. Be a part of the first group of participants to attend.

Types of Uniforms:
There are several types of uniforms. The only one for Troop 70 Scouts is the Scout uniform. The cub, venturer, sea, etc., don't apply for a Boy Scouts.
The uniform consists of the following: Scout Shirt | Scout Shorts | Scout crew socks | and Scout belt
Scout Shirt: The Scout shirt is the basic tax short sleeve shirt. There are several patches to be applied to the shirt. For the left sleeve shoulder down - council strip; Unit number and year bar combo (available from the troop); position patch (if any).
For the right sleeve shoulder down: American Flag; patrol patch; round troop patch (available from troop).
